This is the definitive book about the Maldives. JJ Robinson has clearly documented a very readable and accurate account of key players and events in its recent history. I have lived and worked as an expat during these turbulent times and can attest to the authenticity of this sad and seedy side of A Paradise Lost. A must read.

Not for me

While I'm not what you'd call a crafty person, I do have aspirations of craftiness. Unfortunately, they don't really extend beyond pinning projects on Pinterest.

After reading the synopsis of this book, I had high hopes that I could finally unleash my inner Craft Goddess! Sadly, she remains leashed for the moment as none of Mr. Kate's projects really appealed to me. I do want to try her nail polish suggestions, but that's about it. At least I have a fun new blog to follow!

Most of the projects in this book are a little too quirky or young for my taste (a doily skirt? metal studs on your boot heels?), but I did love Kate's stories. Part memoir and part DIY, the stories were my favorite part of this book!

Growing up in LA with a hippie-inspired mother and a father show business big wig, Kate's childhood sounds much more exciting then mine! I know that I never got to have dinner with Tom Hanks or meet Michael J Fox on a movie set. Then she grows up to marry a real-life rock star? Granted, he's a member of a boy band I've never heard of, but still!

Kate seems like a fun, charismatic person and I loved reading her stories! While the crafts she choose to highlight in this book weren't for me, I'm sure that they'll appeal to her target audience and that they'll love the book!

That said I did not enjoy the stories included

So I actually pre-ordered this book and never finished reading it. Visually, the book is stunning. The photos and layout are gorgeous. And while not all the DIYs are inventive or something I'd be interested in doing that's to be expected.That said I did not enjoy the stories included. It honestly could be just that Kate can't write (sorry) and ends up telling her stories rather than sharing them and engaging the reader. But instead of being funny I found the book to be....her showing off? Most of the stories are just name-dropping with some filler. I guess I never realized how privileged she was from watching her YouTube videos, and that's my fault, but the book was just not entertaining and ended up rubbing me the wrong way. If you expect to be able to relate to Kate, don't. This a girl who spent $1,250 on Versace beach towels just because. And if you expect her book to be funny, don't.

If you are anything like me, I search the shelves at my local ...

If you are anything like me, I search the shelves at my local book store and find myself empty handed because of the lack of creativity that comes within the newest reading releases. Each DIY book contains the same projects, follows the same format, and at times feels like I'm reading the same text in each book. When branching out to autobiographies, the same exact story of loss and triumph are usually given with the exception of a new face plastered on the cover. Sometimes I feel as though with these categories, content has become unoriginal and the "true self" of people are lost between the lines of text they try to provide their audience for a positive and inspiring reaction. If you've found yourself in this same "reading rut" as I have, then I definitely recommend reading Mr. Kate's newest book release, "A Hot Glue Gun Mess".

Kate takes you on a journey through short stories of her life in real events that helped defining who she is in her life today. This amazing, uncensored book gives a sign of relief that unoriginal content has not been lost and you truly feel as though you are talking to your closest, best friend with the stories Kate selflessly tells providing laughter, embarrassment, love, separation, and even those that make you want to blush yourself just hearing about! This new take on an autobiography is very refreshing and unlike any other autobiography I've read in the past.

What also separates this release from others is that Kate puts her fashion, interior decorating, and DIY professionalism spin on each short story provided for a fun new project you can try at home yourself. Each story helped in giving Kate the inspiration for creating these new pieces and she helps in telling the reader each step of the way on how to create their very own work of art just like hers. You'll see fun pieces such as unique furniture pieces, beautiful home decor items, fashionable clothing & accessories, and even some makeup & hairstyles within this DIY and autobiography mix! Not only are these DIY projects fun to re-create they are also original pieces that are not found within the same DIY novels that keep being mass produced each year.

In all honesty, there is something about Mr. Kate that you feel a connection with that inspires you to be yourself and live life to the fullest. I applaud Kate for being able to accomplish this with the sharing of each story & DIY project. As a long time fan of hers through her website blog & YouTube channel, I would expect nothing less from the queen of the bedazzled jeweled glue gun.

Thank you to C.C Genovese for writing another amazing book for his readers to read.

This is totally different from all his other books. He has combined both his passions horror and erotica and it works extremely well. From the first page till the last I was enthralled with the concept of the whole book. These to passions work well side by side, I am looking forward to reading more of these type of stories from him. His writing is so unique, the characters have you sitting on the edge of your seat waiting for what happens next in their story.

The story is hot and steamy with the twist of evilness and horror, the whole story just explodes and leaves you wanting more. It gives you such a high that you feel part of the characters.

I would highly recommend this book to anybody people go buy it I promise you will not be disappointed. Enjoy.

Diablo Snuff: A Foreign Evil gives new meaning to Erotic Horror. It will leave you completely mind blown with the twisted plot. I did not see this coming. You will be drawn into a world that's terrifying and you wont know what hit you. The balance between erotica and horror are perfectly balanced. This is not a book for the faint at heart so if you are not into These kind of books walk away now. If you are hold on to your panties and grab a flashlight and be prepared to have your mind twisted. I absolutely LOVED this book if I could I would rate this higher than a 5star. Well done C.C. Genovese !!!!!!!!!

Horrifyingly Sexy

Even though this is a novella it is sooo good. It has horror, some humor, sexiness, along with great writing.I could actually feel myself getting tense not knowing what was going to happen and the sex scene was awesome. Very hot.Therefore warranting a five star from me.

This highly book focuses on special forces.It charts the history of special forces, from Nazi Germany's"Brandenburgers" to modern day Navy SEALS.Training,Weaponry and Equipement, and an appendix of the world's special forces,such as The Singapore Special Operations Force and the SAS are covered in this book.25 "Classic Operations" true stories are also covered in this book. However,writing is a tad too small and I hope future editions of this book will have bigger writing.

He is also serving as the founding CEO of Manjrasoft, a spin-off company of the University, commercializing its innovations in Cloud Computing. He has authored over 500 publications and four text books including "Mastering Cloud Computing" published by McGraw Hill, China Machine Press, and Elsevier/Morgan Kaufmann for Indian, Chinese and international markets respectively. He is one of the highly cited authors in computer science and software engineering worldwide. "A Scientometric Analysis of Cloud Computing Literature" by German scientists ranked Dr. Buyya as the World's Top-Cited (#1) Author and the World's Most-Productive (#1) Author in Cloud Computing. Comprehensive and Technical

This textbook lays first the background about the core concepts of the Cloud Computing; namely, the Parallel & Distributed Computing and the Virtualization. Then, the authors reveal the concept of Cloud Computing in d�tail. In addition, the authors explain a CC environment: Aneka. Therefore, the reader may skip the first part if it is well known and target Part 2 directly about CC.
This book is excellent in laying the course syllabus about CC in universities for both senior levels Undergrads and postgraduate students.
In addition, the language style is easy. There are many figures which are self-explanatory.
I strongly recommend this book.
